“I know it's hard when you're up to
your armpits in alligators to remember you came here to drain
the swamp.” Ronald Reagan, 1982
And haven’t we all been in that position at some time in
our professional lives. If you’ve got a swamp that needs draining,
or a fire to be put out, you need a pair of eyes that can identify
the problem, with a pair of hands that does the job without giving
you additional work.
After managing risk for many years in large American and British
banks on the basis of identifying and implementing solutions rather
than reporting problems, I have the experience to sort out almost
any mess, and put in the processes to stop major issues happening
in the future.
